EMN Cyprus is kindly inviting you to participate to the coming EMN REG expert workshop on Effective Alternatives to Detention, taking place on 13-14 June in Larnaca at the Hotel Indigo. The event is specifically appointed to practitioners working in the field of alternatives to detention and consists of a REG Wider Group session (on 13 June, Full day) and of a Practitioner only session (on 14 June, half day - morning).
The workshop will be held in English.
The workshop will:
§ provide development update since the European Migration Network study on detention and alternatives to detention was published
§ discuss best practices, implementation challenges and possible future innovative measures
§ Provide a peer learning opportunity for return practitioners in EU Member States, Norway and Switzerland.
§ combine presentations and interactive sessions where participants will be asked to share their experiences.
