 | | The Grant Agreement was signed between the European Funds Unit of the Ministry of Interior, as the Managing Authority, and the Cyprus Police and the University of Cyprus, as the Beneficiary, for the joint financing of the project titled “PROTECDOME: PROTECtion DOME for public spaces against rogue drones”.
The main aim of the project is to develop an unmanned aircraft combatting system (CUAS), develop the understanding and capability of the Law Enforcement Authorities in the use of the CUAS technology, exchange knowledge and data and encourage further control and a harmonised integration of the CUAS technology.
The project is implemented within the framework of the Internal Security Fund, jointly financed by the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus, with a total budget of €543,888.89.
The project implementation period is 01/03/2024 to 30/06/2026. |
