 | | On 10th December 2024, a Grant Agreement was signed between the European Funds Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, as the Managing Authority of the Home Affairs Funds, and the Cyprus Police, as the beneficiary, to finance the project titled “Strengthening capabilities to manage and process evidence”.
The main objective of the project is to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Police to effectively prevent and combat crime, terrorism, radicalization, and deal with small-scale and organized crime, including drug offences, as well as attempt to identify victims of serious and catastrophic incidents, by purchasing special equipment and providing training for the timely and accurate crime investigation.
Total project budget: €1,100,656.11.
Project implementation period: 01/09/2023 - 31/12/2025.
The project is implemented within the framework of the Internal Security Fund (ISF) and it is co-financed by the European Union. |
