Grant Agreements were signed on 2nd February 2024 between the European Funds Unit of the Ministry of Interior, as the Managing Authority of the Home Affairs Funds, and the Cyprus Foundation for Muscular Dystrophy Research/the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, as the Beneficiary, for the co-financing of the following projects:

• Robotic systems for the extraction/management of DNA

Massively Parallel Sequencing Analyser for Forensic Genetics
The project is implemented within the framework of the Internal Security Fund, co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus, with a total budget of €320,144. The implementation period is 01/06/2023 - 31/08/2024.

Robotic systems for the extraction/management of DNA
The project is implemented within the framework of the Internal Security Fund, co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus, with a total budget of €805,710. The implementation period is 15/06/2023 - 15/09/2024.
