 | | On 23 July 2024, a Grant Agreement was signed between the European Funds Unit of the Ministry of Interior, as the Managing Authority of the Home Affairs Funds, and the Cyprus Police, as the Beneficiary, to jointly finance the project titled “API Upgrade/CPCS interface with the national SPOC system”.
The main aim of the project is the efficient passenger check at the entry/exit points of the Republic of Cyprus. Additionally, through the CPCS interface with the national SPOC system of the Migration Department, it will be possible to access fingerprint data at the border control for authentication purposes.
The project has been implemented since July 2023 within the framework of the Internal Security Fund (ISF), and it is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus. The total budget of the project is €244,249.09.
The duration of the project implementation is 01/07/2023-31/12/2027. |
