The 2nd Session of the Monitoring Committees of the Home Affairs Funds 2021-2027 was held on Thursday, 30 November 2023.

The Session aimed to inform the Members and Observers of the Monitoring Committees of the Internal Affairs Funds (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, Instrument for the Financial Support of Border Management and Visa Policy, Internal Security Fund) on the actions of the Managing Authority, in order to respond to the new requirements that arise in the context of the 2021-2027 Programming Period, for the approved Programmes of the three Funds and the amendments that are expected to be made, for the obligation to comply with the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, as well as for the publicity and communication obligations of the Managing Authority during the new Programming Period.

The works of the Session was welcomed by the Minister of Interior Mr. Constantinos Ioannou and the Deputy Director General responsible for the "Task Force Migration Management" of the Directorate General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission Ms. Beate Gminder.

It is noted that the presentations regarding the BMVI and the ISF will not be published, but will be sent personally to the Members and Observers of the respective Monitoring Committee.
